Chubby cross dressing boy maid??

Well, that was... Something??

Unfortunately it didn't get off to such a great start, since it took literally an hour and a half to find this place, but just as we were about to give up, we finally stumbled across the Cross-dressing boy cafe and bar - NEWTYPE.

Since pretty boys in dresses make me nervous as hell, I was pretty much in awe for the first twenty minutes. I think they were a bit surprised to see foreigners, and this place is really not aimed at tourists. No English menu, no English speaking maids so it was full nihongo ^^'
They were sooo pretty that even I was convinced some were real girls! In fact, one in particular was misleadingly curvy that I swore to my friend she HAD to be a girl - she was bordering on chubby and had a face too pretty to be a guy - but no, he turned out to be a guy. A very pretty curvy guy. Cue Candy swooning.

They started teasing him about his weight, telling him - you're faaaat, you're chubbyyyy~ And he kept referring to himself as japanese pocchari meido (chubby maid) >w>
Okay, he wasn't exactly fat, but I did nudge my friend when I saw him and mentioned, 'chubbyyy~'
He was wearing a pretty pink dresses skirt, and his name was Saki. I got a picture with him Please keep in mind I've been in Japan for so long that chubby to me is basically fat so I will take what I can get. ^^'
Anyway, they started talking about what is overweight in Japan, and decided anything over 60kg - 133 pounds (I think for girls?) and for guys, it starts at 70kg (154 pounds) and over 80kg is definitely fat. All of the other boy maids were insanely thin, but Saki chan was the curviest and the prettiest.

After he took a picture with me and decorated it, he walked us to the door and waved us off. >///w///>

I probably won't come back this time, but it was an interesting experience!
